Claim 20-35% of childcare expenses on your federal taxes. Up to $3,000 for one child or $6,000 for two or more.

Dependent Care FSA

Set aside up to $5,000/year pre-tax through your employer for childcare. Reduces your taxable income.

Head Start

Free federal program for children from families at or below the poverty level. Ages 3-5 (Early Head Start: birth to 3).
